    Witold Kowalczyk

Witold is a technology entrepreneur, researcher and self-taught programmer.

He studied law at the University of Warsaw and also pursued a master’s degree at the University of Paris Pantheon-Assas complemented by various prestigious internships internationally. He graduated summa cum laude in the top 5% of his class and was admitted to a PhD at his alma mater as well as graduate LLM degrees at three top US law schools: NYU, UC Berkeley and University of Chicago (along with the top scholarship available). He decided not to pursue his legal career and rather ventured into technology, given the disruptive opportunities it offers.

After his studies he worked for one year at the Polish Foreign Investment Agency where he supported Polish tech companies in their expansion to foreign markets. In 2016 he started his own consulting/investment firm in the area of AI & robotics. He has been involved in the creation and launching of a $ 2.5m Smart City accelerator and has assisted several R&D projects in the area of AI, drones and robotics in raising capital and commercialising their technology. He has also been selected as an Expert in AI for the European Commission’s Horizon 2020 programme. During that time he has worked with leading AI researchers and universities in Poland and can boast a strong access to top talent in Poland. Since 2016 he has also learned programming, in particular R, Python, Rasa NLU/Core, NLP, Tensorflow and recently has ventured into quantum programming.

In September 2017 he founded BOHR.TECHNOLOGY in order to explore the opportunities that quantum computing will bring to the transportation industry.

In his spare time, he still pursues research in the field of AI and law - exploring the potential for automating reasoning therein and introducing new computational law methods (https://github.com/WitoldKowalczyk/Brussels.AI).

Witold is trilingual in French, English and Polish and is fluent in Spanish and German.

    Przemysław Chojecki, PhD

Przemysław has obtained a PhD in mathematics in Paris, France. He worked as a research fellow at University of Oxford for two years, conducting research in abstract mathematics. He tackled issues of proof verification with DeepAlgebra program, which has taken him on the verge of mathematics and computer science.
In 2016 he has returned to Poland where he started working scientifically at Polish Academy of Sciences. He co-founded Bring.ai - a same-day delivery start-up - and was interested in AI applications in logistics ever since. He is passionate about using a cutting-edge research in developing new technologies and ventures.

He has many publications with international collaborators from top universities (Princeton, Harvard, Cambridge) solving difficult problems in abstract mathematics.

He is the author of DeepAlgebra (https://przchojecki.github.io/deepalgebra/) a computer program for automating reasoning in the field of mathematics.
